About the Founder

Maker's Edge Consulting is led by Norbert, a manufacturing professional with over 15 years of experience across woodworking manufacturing, production systems, and operational leadership.

His experience spans a variety of woodworking manufacturing environments including furniture production, bespoke joinery, fire door manufacturing, security door manufacturing, and automated machinery based production operations.

Throughout his career, he has been responsible for improving production performance, developing manufacturing systems, implementing operational improvements, and supporting business growth through better operational design.

This experience provides a practical understanding of the challenges manufacturers face when balancing production demands, investment decisions, operational efficiency, and growth.
